A piano-driven singer and songwriter and a transplant from Detroit to Minneapolis, Keri Noble is coming to the Historic Pioneer Place on Fifth Theatre on Wednesday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m. for Granite City Radio Theatre. The all ages show tickets are available online here.
After growing up in an environment where secular music was not readily available, Noble was inspired, like so many, by Joni Mitchell’s historic album Blue, to find her own voice in songwriting. Keri gained the attention of the world-famous producer, Arif Mardin, and a recording deal with EMI/Manhattan Records soon followed.
Her latest album "Softer Place to Land" was released November of 2013.
Join us for a night filled with radio drama, including a new episode of Shades Brigade, the delectable music of Collective Unconscious, comedy sketches to tickle your central Minnesota funny bone...and the return of the live trivia challenge with Dan Barth!
This episode of Granite City Radio Theatre brought to you by KVSC 88.1FM and is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy grant and KVSC.
We hope to see you in the audience for a fantastic show!

KVSC’s 37th annual trivia weekend is still two seasons away, but we LOVE to get our trivia blood pumping every summer by revealing the theme for our annual mind bending weekend. On your mark…get set…get ready for…Trivia Cruisin’ 2016: Racing, Road Tripping, and Rock & Roll.
For 50 consecutive hours February 12-14th, KVSC will be revving up our radio hot rods, muscle and touring cars as we travel the nation. There will be plenty of trivia truck stops, roadside attractions and nostalgia along Route 88.1. If it involves car… in it, on it and under it, it’s fair game for Trivia Cruisin’: Racing, Road Tripping, and Rock & Roll.

KVSC.org presents an original production--the amazing journey of Holocaust survivor Dr. Henry Oertelt. The entire podcast series is presented in episodes of the 18 critical events that led to Henry's survival of five Nazi concentration camps and a three day death march. Henry Oertelt's compelling book, "An Unbroken Chain" was recorded and engineered at the KVSC studios. KVSC is sincerely honored to be the audio archival source of Dr. Oertelt's eternal message of hope and dignity.
