Archived: A Level Three Sex Offender is Moving Into Stearns County

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office will hold a meeting to give information to people about a level three sex offender.

Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson says that 30-year-old Thomas Snook will be released August 16 and will be living in Stearns County off Highway 15 and County Road 146. This meeting about Snook is to enhance public safety and protection. The meeting will involve the Sheriff’s Office, the County Attorney, the Minnesota Department of Corrections, the Minnesota BCA, and the Central Minnesota Assault Center.

Snook is described as a white male standing at 5’ 8” and nearly 200 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and comes from Wadena County. He was arrested for engaging in sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl victim and has a history of inappropriate conduct with minor boys and girls. He is known to victims.

The meeting about Snook will be on Wednesday, August 15 in the Maine Prairie Township Hall from 6 – 7:45 p.m.
