Archived: A Man Was Injured By A Gunshot At The Golden Meadows Hunting Preserve
A hunter was injured by a gunshot at Golden Meadows Hunting Preserve located at 260th Street in Richmond at about 11:35 a.m. on Sunday.
Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a gunshot incident at the Golden Meadows Hunting Preserve. Steven Grimm was hunting with a group of seven hunters earlier in the morning. They started shooting when a bird flushed up. Grimm was then hit by pellets in the upper torso and head. He was taken to the hospital in Waconia by a third party.
The Carver County Sheriff’s office, who is assisting, says the investigation is ongoing.
