A two-time Slam Poetry champion will be performing at St. Cloud State University.

The St. Cloud State Women’s Center says Kyle Tran Myhre, also known as "Guante," explores relationships of identity, power, and resistance in his work.

He has over ten million views online, has been featured on the Huffington Post and Welcome to Night Vale, and has performed live at the United Nations, among other things.

Myhre is based in Minneapolis and is an MC, activist, and educator along with being a spoken word artist.

The performance will be held at the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, October 16 from 8-9 p.m.
