Anonymous Donor Providing Match For Kettle Drive Donations
12/10/2012 - 11:00 AM
An anonymous donor has provided the St. Cloud Salvation Army kettle drive with a $20,000 match.
For the next seven days every dollar donated will be matched up to $20,000. Major Lee Morrison said that the Salvation Army is working hard to make their goal, however they are about $10,000 behind.
The Salvation Army has been experiencing an increase in the number of families requesting shelter and food this past year and it has put a strain on resources.
Any donation given at a kettle or sent in the mail will be used as part of the match.
