A camping trailer and a truck were destroyed in an early morning fire Thursday near Eden Valley.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were called to the fire at 5:30 a.m. in Eden Lake Township. The camper and truck were fully engulfed in flames when the deputy arrived. Fifty-seven-year-old Lawrence Lang of Richmond reported the fire.

Everyone in the camper were safely outside. The camper, truck and all the owner’s personal belongings were a total loss. The cause of the fire is believed to be cooking grease.

The Eden Valley fire department extinguished the fire.
