Children's Hospital Toy Donation To Be Held In Honor Of Kayleen Larson
09/03/2013 - 11:10 AM
Kayleen Larson’s dream before she passed away last May, was to collect donated toys and bring them to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis every year on her birthday. Kayleen’s birthday is fast approaching on September 16th.
Kayleen Larson of Clearwater was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in March of 2012 and admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The toys donated in honor of Kayleen will be delivered to Star Studio in Minneapolis. Star Studio is a closed network that creates original television programming for children admitted to the Children’s Hospital and their families.
If you’d like to donate toys to this great cause the drop box is located at the Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union in the Atwood Memorial Center on the SCSU campus. Donated toys should be unused, valued under $20 and for children 3-18 years of age.
