St. Cloud Area School District 742 has announced new programming for the fall of 2017.

Spokeswomab Tami DeLand says that Clearview Elementary is currently the home of the district’s Spanish Immersion Program as well as traditional English classrooms. The new set of programming slated for the coming academic year will create a Spanish Magnet School.

A magnet school is a public school that has a focused theme and aligned curriculum around a subject like a foreign language. 

Clearview is hosting a Spanish Magnet Information Night at 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, that is open to the public.
