The Stearns County Sheriff’s Department responded a car crash Sunday morning in Lynden Township.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says 22-year-old Hayley Konz of Clearwater was traveling eastbound on County Road 44 around 11:15 a.m. Sunday when her vehicle left the road way, entered the ditch and hit a tree.

A passerby had called in the crash when they had stopped to check on Konz.

Konz was found unconscious in her car and was taken to a local hospital. Her condition is not known.

The accident remains under investigation.
