C.R.A.S.H. Task Forces Arrested Five For D.W.I.'s On New Year's Eve

Area police departments involved in the C.R.A.S.H. Task Force issued twenty citations on New Year’s Eve during a patrol saturation focused on Minnesota Highway 23 from St. Cloud to Paynesville.
The task force stopped 110 vehicles and arrested five people for D.W.I.’s. Other citations issued include three seat belt violations, three driving after withdrawal violations, and one speeding violation.
The Central Minnesota Reduction of Accidents for Safe Highways task force, known as C.R.A.S.H., is a part of the state’s Toward Zero Death initiative that has a main goal of reducing serious injury and fatal crashes through D.W.I. enforcement and education.
