Diesel Fuel Contamination at Two First Fuel Bank Locations

The owner of First Fuel Banks reported on Friday August, 23 that someone intentionally contaminated the company’s fuel, at both the Lincoln Avenue and Waite Park First Fuel Bank locations.
St. Cloud police reports says the fuel contamination came from someone pouring an unknown substance into their diesel fuel storage tanks, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.
Numerous city of St. Cloud, as well as private business vehicles have been damaged because of the contamination. The city of St. Cloud estimates the damage to their vehicles in the tens of thousands of dollars.
If anyone has any information about this crime or suspects please contact Tri County Crime Stoppers or the St. Cloud Police Department. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward and First Fuel Bank will offer an additional $5,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible.
