Archived: Fight At Apollo High School Leads To One Injured

A large fight at Apollo High School that started in the hallways but made its way outside led to a student being sent to the hospital.

The St. Cloud Police Department says they received a report about a fight in the school just before 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.

According to an investigation, two students began a mutual fight in a hallway before a third student started fighting as well. The two male students both turned on the third male student as the fight spilled outside. It was at this time that school staff were able to separate the students.

The lone student, an 18-year-old student from St. Cloud, was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Another 15-year-old male student was arrested at the scene and transported to a juvenile facility for assault charges. The remaining student, also 15 years old, fled the fight scene and has not been located.

The high school went into "containment" during the incident, but school activities resumed not long after the fight ended.
