Do you have long overdue books? Or maybe you found that library book you said you lost. Well the Great River Regional Library is introducing Fines Forgiveness Week.

Communications Director Abby Faulkner says the library will accept your overdue books with no fines, no matter how long its been or even if it has been damaged. Faulkner says the goal of the event is to remind the community that the library is a place for everyone.

To get your fines forgiven visit the Great River Regional Library between Saturday September 15 and Saturday September 22 to sit down and talk to a librarian about wiping your slate clean.
