Fire Rescue Called To House Fire In Avon

On Sunday afternoon, Avon and Albany Fire and Rescue as well as the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were called to Avon for a mobile home fire.
According to the police report, the 57-year-old homeowner Dale Osfalg and his family escaped the trailer without harm. The fire appeared to have started in the front bedroom, caused extensive damage, and is believed to be a total loss.
The family is receiving assistance by the Gateway Church in St. Joseph and the Red Cross.
