Archived: Former President Bill Clinton Visited SCSU On Sunday Night

The crowd went wild as former President Bill Clinton spoke at the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom on Sunday night. Clinton discussed student loans, health insurance, bank bailouts, and various other issues while endorsing President Obama. KVSC News Director Amelia Rowland has the story.

About 1,100 people filled the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom and about 1,000 more outside as the former President spoke.  Senator Al Franken and Sixth District Congressional Candidate Jim Graves were among the opening speeches for Clinton.  

 Senator Al Franken spoke about the importance of voting no for the Voter ID Amendment on Tuesday’s ballot. 

Sixth District Congressional Candidate Jim Graves spoke about the importance of voting on Tuesday.
