Grey Eagle Man Dead After Snowmobile Crash

MELROSE, Minn. (AP) - A snowmobile crash in Stearns County is fatal. Sheriff John Sanner says a man crashed his snowmobile into a tree in Melrose Township New Year's Eve.
The 33-year-old man from Grey Eagle was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
According to the report, the man was wearing a helmet and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
