Archived: High Temps, Dry Air and High Winds Could Mean Fire For Central Minnesota

Late spring weather conditions have made another combination of potential fire.

St. Cloud State University meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says that wildfire danger is back as central Minnesota battles 80 degree highs and ten to 20 mile-per -hour winds. The dry air could spread fires quickly, so people are urged to be mindful of their burning habits.

People are urged not to fly drones around fires so crews can work safely. Luckily, forecasted rain will hit Minnesota later in the week.
