Hip-Hop Against Homophobia This Thursday
10/16/2012 - 10:00 AM
On Thursday, KVSC and the LGBT Resource Center will host Hip-Hop Against Homophobia at the Atwood Memorial Center at SCSU. The event will feature two-time Poetry Slam winner Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre, as well as Heidi Barton Stink, Kaos, Toki Wright, Big Cats, and See More Perspective. These artists were picked to perform by Guante because of their support towards equality for people of all sexual preferences.
Guante says the event is a fun show that is explicitly safe for everyone, no matter how they identify, and that it serves to make space for community collaboration. The event is free to students and the community and open for all ages.
