The District 742 Local Education Activities Foundation (LEAF) has revealed the funds awarded to local schools for the fall.

LEAF Executive Director Bruce Hentges says almost $74,000 has been awarded in fall grants since the 2018-19 school year began.

This total includes over $21,000 in fall academic contingency grants and $18,500 in Adopt-a-Classroom grants.

LEAF annually awards supplemental funding to the district’s schools for their "academic, activities, arts, and athletic programming." Since 1996, they’ve contributed over $1,600,000 to St. Cloud Area District 742 programs.
