Archived: Level 3 Sex Offender Moving To St. Cloud Tuesday

A Level 3 sex offender has notified the St. Cloud Police Department he intends to move in to the community starting Tuesday.

Assistant chief Jeff Oxton says they were notified by 39-year-old Terrence Davone Olive that he intends to live in St. Cloud, but he is homeless at this time.

Minnesota statutes require Level 3 offenders to notify law enforcement when they are planning to move to a new community. Olive served his sentence for having sexual contact with a 10-year-old female victim that was known to him at the time. Level 3 offenders are considered by the Minnesota Department of Corrections as most likely to re-offend.

There will be a community notification meeting on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the St. Cloud Police Department’s Training Room 3. The police department is located at 101 11th Avenue North.

At the meeting both police and representatives from the Minnesota Department of Corrections will provide information on public safety for those who attend.
