Man Previously Involved In Officer Decker Case Now Accused Of Stalking
01/10/2013 - 2:45 AM
BUFFALO, Minn. (AP) - A man who was arrested but not charged in the killing of a Cold Spring police officer is denying new charges that he stalked his ex-girlfriend.
The St. Cloud Times reports 34-year-old Ryan Michael Larson is accused of a pattern of stalking that included calling her employer, a health care facility in Buffalo, and trying to get her fired.
The charges were filed in Wright County, and a warrant was issued for his arrest Thursday. Larson was arrested the night Officer Tom Decker was shot behind a Cold Spring bar Nov. 29. He spent four days in jail before being released.
Larson tells the Times he doesn't understand why he's been charged in the new stalking case or why people think he's still a suspect in Decker's death.
