Melrose Man Injured After Snowmobile Accident

A Melrose man was injured after being thrown from his snowmobile on Saturday afternoon.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Freeport Rescue and Melrose Ambulance were called to Lake Maria in Oak Township for a snowmobile accident on Saturday.
According to the report, 50-year-old Glenn Lawrence Hinnenkamp of Melrose was riding his snowmobile when he hit a snow bank and was thrown from his sled. He suffered a lower left leg injury and was treated at the scene by Freeport Rescue.
He was later taken to the Melrose Hospital by Melrose Ambulance.
