Northstar Transit is offering new riders a chance to learn how to use its services in a class Friday that takes participants from St. Cloud State University to Minneapolis and back.

Stearns County says staff from Metro Bus will lead a group onto the Northstar Commuter Bus and Commuter Rail and teach attendees about the Metro Green Line light rail services in the cities.

The group will meet in the SCSU Miller Center lobby at 10 a.m. The class goes until 6 p.m. the same day.

Registration is free for adults and 20 spots are available. Participants are encouraged to bring money for lunch when the group stops in Minneapolis.
