Minnesota Pioneer Park Celebrates 40th Anniversary On Saturday

Minnesota Pioneer Park in Annandale will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary this Saturday. The festivities will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The celebration will include music, kid activities, and food. The museum park will be showcasing many artisan demonstrations as well the old-time artifacts within the museum.
Minnesota State Representative Dean Urdahl will be speaking to event goers. The Swinging Country Band with Phyllis Hummel will be playing from Noon to 1:30 p.m. Families can go on hay wagon rides through the park and be amazing by Leander’s huge steam tractor.
The event is also celebrating one of the parks founding fathers Nobel Shadduck. Shadduck helped found the museum park in 1972 and was driving force behind its success. The park displays history of Minnesota's early pioneers in hands on ways. The park features many buildings that resemble buildings from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
