Archived: Minnesota Senate Passes Transportation Budget

The Minnesota Senate has passed a transportation funding package to help roads and bridges across the state.

Minnesota Senate correspondent Jacob Schneider says this bill offers $1.3 billion  in funding for the next two years. St. Cloud Republican Senator Jerry Relph says Minnesotans depend on safe, reliable roads and bridges each day as they travel… our long-term transportation budget ensures infrastructure in all corners of the state will receive the attention it needs.

The bill will offer a $3.6 billion investment over the next ten years, and create safer roadways for motorists.
