Archived: Minnesotans Are Asked To Take 2017 Legislative Priorities Survey

Governor Mark Dayton is seeking the public’s opinion on Minnesota’s legislative priorities for the New Year.

Dayton says he needs people’s input before the next legislative session, and has sent out a survey for responses.

He adds that many people may feel worried and uncertain after the presidential election, especially since Minnesota swayed democratic in the vote.

Dayton says, “We aren’t going to let Donald Trump threaten our progress or stop us from moving forward here in Minnesota.”

The survey asks questions about infrastructure funding and spending, paid vacation for new mothers, and water pollution and prevention. Take the survey here.
