One Arrested After Alleged Drive-By Shooting In St. Joseph

Sterzinger is being held in the Stearns County Jail.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s office arrested a 25-year-old St. Joseph man after he and two others allegedly drove by a house and fired shots at it. The sheriff’s office says the homeowner called around 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The homeowner said shots were fired toward his home on County Road 160 from a vehicle that passed by.
Stearns County deputies stopped the car involved heading eastbound on County Road 160. The car was driven by 24-year-old Nicole Marie Johnson of Blaine. Deputies allegedly found a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol and 2.5 grams of methamphetamine in the car.
A passenger in the car, Jeremy Ross Sterzinger was arrested on charges of terroristic threats, drive-by shooting and possession of a controlled substance. Sterzinger is being held in the Stearns County Jail. Another passenger 24-year-old Cassandra Rae Trimble of Little Canada was charged with making terroristic threats. Johnson was released at the scene and her 7-month old child, who was also in the car, remains in her custody.
The homeowner said he did not know any of the people in the car.
