Open House Being Held For Proposed Road Construction Project In Monticello

Residents and business owners are invited to attend an open house to learn and provide feedback about a proposed 2014 construction project in Monticello. The open house will take place on Tuesday, November 13th at the Monticello Community Center.

The proposed project would extend the four lane segment of Highway 25 South through County Road 106. The project would also install a traffic signal at the turn lanes of County Road 106 and 85th Street. Lastly, the project would extend the raised concrete median and make other improvements.

Those who attend the open house will learn about how the project will affect traffic, view a preliminary layout of the proposed project, take home project information and get their questions answered directly from Minnesota Department of Transportation staff.

The open house will begin at 5 p.m. in the Bridge Room of the Monticello Community Center.
