Road work will close parts of Highways 10 and 23
08/14/2009 - 12:00 PM
It wouldn't be summer in Minnesota if we didn't have some road work to tell you about in the Saint Cloud area. The work begins Sunday on the stretch of Highway 10 from West Highway 23 to 15th Avenue South. Crews are looking to extend the life of that road by re-paving it. The road work will be happening nightly from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. through September. Crews will also begin fixing a stretch of Highway 23 from Wilson Avenue to Highway 10 east. Drivers can expect single lane closures and closed access ramps. Anyone driving the stretch should slow down and drive with caution. The re-surfacing project costs 1.4 million dollars and again is expected to be done by September.
