SCSU LBGT Resource Center Invites You To Take Part Of The Big Picture

On Monday, October 8th the SCSU LGBT Resource Center invites you to meet them at the Atwood Mall at 12 p.m. for “The Big Picture”, the first annual photo shoot to highlight the support that exists for the LGBT community at SCSU. Whether you’re living your life as openly lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or you consider yourself to be an ally you are invited to the photo shoot.
October is LGBT History Month. The LGBT community is the only community that does not learn its history at home, in public schools or in religious institutions. LGBT History Month teachers the heritage, builds a community, engages allies and highlights extraordinary national and international contributions.
The photo will be published on the LGBT Resource Center website and possibly other community publications.
