Archived: SCSU Students Place In Real Estate Competition

A group of students at St. Cloud State University were able to bring home a nice prize at a University Real Estate Challenge.

The students include real estate majors Kyle Delarosby, Austin Ruehle, Drew Quist, finance major Logan Guest and double major in both real estate and finance Kaitlyn Tveit.

On April 19, The quintet of students were able to pitch plans to redevelop a 4.8-acre lot in St. Paul that was a former Adult Detention Center and West Publishing buildings near Wabasha Street South and Kellogg Boulevard. Their proposals were a 15-story apartment building and a small office building that would be 50-percent pre-leased to a co-working tenant.

SCSU competed against six other schools, placing third and winning a $1,000 prize.
