Snow Emergency Declared for St. Cloud

12/27/2018 - 11:00 AM

Facebook Twitter

St. Cloud officials have declared a snow emergency due to the winter storm. The city's Public Works office issued the notice.

The snow emergency takes effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning, or late Thursday night. The emergency was called because of the winter storm warning calling for six or more inches of snow.

The snow emergency will be in place until Sunday at midnight.

What does this mean for city residents?

The city is enforcing parking regulations and they will tow illegally parked vehicles immediately. This means you must follow the odd-even parking rules that are in place for the winter.

If the weather changes, they will rescind the snow emergency.
