Archived: Snow Emergency Declared for St. Cloud

St. Cloud officials have declared a snow emergency due to the winter storm and more than five inches of snow predicted with high winds. The city’s Public Works office issued the notice.

The snow emergency takes effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning, or late Thursday night.

The snow emergency will be in place until Sunday at midnight.

What does this mean for city residents?

The city is enforcing parking regulations and they will tow illegally parked vehicles immediately. This means you must follow the odd-even parking rules that are in place for the winter or your vehicle will be towed.

If the weather changes, they will rescind the snow emergency.
