Speeder Arrested After Car Chase

An 18-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for trying to escape officers who were trying to pull him over for speeding. It happened shortly after midnight this morning. When officers from the St. Cloud Police Department attempted to pull over Brian Teigland on Highway 23 near 25th Avenue, police say he tried to shake off the officers by driving faster, making multiple turns, and running stop signs. Teigland is being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of speeding, fleeing police, and reckless driving. No one was injured in this incident.
