St. Cloud Man Arrested For Punching An Officer

On Tuesday night St Cloud Police were called to the 1500 block of 15th Avenue Southeast for a burglary in progress. According to the police report once officers arrived they started talking to 44-year-old Antoine Jones of St. Cloud. As the officer was speaking Jones punched at the officer and hit the officer in the shoulder.
Officers placed Jones under arrest for 4th degree assault, obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct. The investigation also revealed that Jones was the man attempting to gain entry to the victim’s apartment. T
he officer sustained minor injuries and did not require any medical attention. Jones was treated by Gold Cross Paramedics for minor injuries and was taken to the Sherburne County Jail where he is currently being held for court.
