St. Cloud Biker Hit By Car After Running Red Light

St. Cloud Police were called to Highway 15 and 8th Street North Wednesday evening for reports of a vehicle and bicycle accident. 22-year-old Eric Kimber of St. Cloud was riding his bike across Highway 15 on 8th Street North when he collided with a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Mohamed Qolab of St. Cloud.
Qolab was turning at the intersection and had a green arrow to go. Kimber was riding across the intersection during a red light in his direction. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Kimber will be issued a citation.
