Archived: St. Cloud Declares Snow Emergency Effective Thursday

Due to the predicted increasing snowfall and winds, the city of St. Cloud’s public works office has declared a snow emergency.

The snow emergency takes effect 12:01a.m. Thursday, December 5. This means parking regulations will be enforced. If your vehicle is parked on a city street or area that has restrictions it will be towed by the city to make room for snow removal.

The National Weather Service has predicted 5 to 7 inches of snow for central Minnesota with winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour.
