St. Cloud Man Arrested On Multiple Charges

A man was arrested Thursday night after running through a red light and causing a crash.
According to the police report, 24-year-old Christopher Michael Longtin of St. Cloud was driving north on 25th Avenue when he struck a car, causing his SUV to overturn near the intersection at 25th Avenue and 8th Street North.
The driver of the other vehicle had his leg pinned in the vehicle after the crash and had to be removed from the vehicle with assistance of the St. Cloud Fire Department and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room.
Longtin was arrested for criminal vehicular operation, 3rd degree DUI, felony possession of a controlled substance and a semaphore violation. Longtin is currently being held for court at the Stearns County Jail.
