St. Cloud Man Arrested On Multiple Charges

Shortly before 2 a.m. this [Friday] morning St. Cloud Police were called to the 800 block 9th Avenue South to investigate property damage that had occurred earlier.

The victims told officers that the alleged suspect was walking in the area and after a foot pursuit the suspect, 19-year-old Hayden Michael Lane of St. Cloud was found. According to the police report, officers discovered that Lane had just committed a burglary in the 800 block of 8th Avenue South just before damaging the property at the 800 block of 9th Avenue.

The stolen items from the burglary were dumped by Lane while officers were looking for him and were recovered and returned to the owners, who were home during the time of the burglary.

Lane was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail where he is being held for court pending charges of 1st degree burglary, property damage, fleeing police on foot, obstructing the legal process, and underage consumption.
