Legislative candidates will come together to discuss public education issues before the November elections.

St. Cloud School District 742 is inviting the public to a forum in which 9 candidates will talk about their views and ideas for change to the area’s public education system.

Participating contenders include: Aric Putnam and Tama Theis for House of Representatives seat 14A, Jim Knoblach and Zach Dorholt for seat 14B, Dan Wolgamott and Jerry Relph for Senate District 14, Anne Buchvold for House seat 13A, Matthew Crouse for seat 13B, and Michael Willemsen for Senate District 13.

The forum will be moderated by former Superintendent and Educational Consultant Greg Vandal.

People are invited to take part in the forum in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, or watch on television channel 179. It will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.
