Archived: St. Cloud Student Selected For National Youth Orchestra

A St. Cloud Technical High School student has been selected for the first ever National Youth Orchestra created by Carnegie Hall’s Music Institute.

The student, 16-year-old Arjun Ganguly, has been selected to play viola and will join 120 other exceptional young musicians over the course of two weeks this summer to create the National Youth Orchestra.

The musicians will travel to New York during the summer for a two week program working with some of the country’s best professional orchestral players.

The Orchestra will then embark on an international tour including stops in Moscow, St. Petersburg and London.
