UPDATE: St. Cloud's Winter Lights And Nights Parade Takes Cancelled
12/05/2013 - 10:40 AM

UPDATE: The Winter Nights and Lights Parade has been cancelled due to bitter cold temperatures forecast for Saturday.
The 13th annual Winter Nights and Lights Parade will take place this Saturday, December 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Before the parade, winter wonderland activities will be set up at Lake George. A Santa fun run will take place just before the parade at 4:00 p.m. and will benefit the charity “Claus for a Cause.” The first 100 participants in the run will receive Santa hats encouraged to be worn during the run.
The parade will include illuminated holiday parade floats traveling along West Saint Germain Street, set to festive holiday music. This year’s parade theme is a “Storybook Holiday.”
The St. Cloud Downtown Council and Alliance Foundation are hosting the event.
St. Cloud residents should be aware West Saint Germain Street will be closed along the parade route, from 16th to 4th Avenue. The City Engineer’s Office expects the closure to last from 4:00-6:30 p.m.
The Winter Nights and Lights Parade are free and open to the public.
