Archived: Three St. Cloud Men Arrested After A Robbery At Sauk Rapids Holiday Gas Station

Sauk Rapids Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in the robbery of gas station.

Sauk Rapids Police Chief Perry Beise says officers were called to the Holiday Gas Station in the 1700 block of 2nd Avenue North around 6:20 a.m. Saturday morning. Witnesses say four men entered the building where one man displayed what appeared to be a handgun.

The four men then proceeded to rob the store, taking an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The four suspects drove away and were later stopped by St. Cloud police officers. The three passengers 20-year-old Abdijamal Kaydsane Mohamed, 30-year-old Wali Mahad Ahmed, and 26-year-old Ilyes Omar Ibrahim all of St. Cloud were arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail. 

The driver of the vehicle was able to escape on foot.

The robbery is currently being investigated.
