Archived: Three Tech High Students Attend President’s Science Fair

Three St. Cloud Tech High School students visited the White House for President Barack Obama’s Science Fair.

The students, Grant Feldhege, Neil Molitor, and Tyler Tran, were invited to the fair after creating a new product called Dolly-2-Trolly. The product connects to a two-wheel dolly and allows a person to move a trailer with ease. The students created, designed, and manufactured the Dolly-2-Trolly as a part of a class at Tech.

Their product also won the National Skills-USA Engineering and Design competition.

According to school officials, The boys were three of 100 students from across the United States chosen to participant in the science fair.

While in Washington DC, the boys met President Obama and attended his speech honoring the participants.

Tech High school says the students will graduate this spring and attend the University of Minnesota Duluth in the fall.
