Two Fires Near Highway 15 On Saturday

Two grass fires were reported within minutes of each other around noon on Saturday along Highway 15 in Stearns County. The cause of the fires has not been determined and it is not known whether or not they are related.
The first fire was near Highway 15 and Dellwood Road in Maine Prairie Township. The Kimball Fire department extinguished the fire in about 15 minutes.
The second fire was near County Road 141 East and Highway 15 in St. Augusta. The St. Augusta Fire department found that the fire was in a wooded area and grass area. It took about three hours for the fire fighters to put out the fire due to the location of the fire.
