Archived: Two People Arrested Last Week In St. Cloud Are Now Facing Assault Charges

Two people were arrested last week in St. Cloud and are now facing assault charges from two seperate incidents.

On Thursday, 31-year-old Andrue Thomas Grabow was arrested after Metro Bus staff complained he was creating problems with others at the station located at 500 1st Street South. Sergeant Jason Burke says Grabow, who was intoxicated at the time, refused to cooperate with the arresting officers. One officer attempted to use a Taser and ultimately had to fight to get him into custody. Grabow was taken to Stearns County Jail after 5 p.m. and is facing charges of 4th degree assault and obstructing legal process. One officer was punched in the head and suffered minor injuries.

The next day on Friday, 62-year-old David Michael Michaud was arrested after threatening two others with a butcher knife. Burke says officers responded to the complaint in the 600 block of 13th Street South just after 6 p.m. Michaud threatened his 63-year-old roommates with a knife when he found out they were eating his food. He was booked to Stearns County Jail facing charges of 2nd degree assault. No injuries were reported.
