Archived: Where to Vote In St. Cloud

Election Day is this Tuesday! Are you ready to practice your civic duty and vote? 

In order to be eligible to vote in St. Cloud, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be 18 years old on election day.
  • You Must have resided in Minnesota for 20 days before the election day and be a resident of St. Cloud on the day of the election.
  • If you have a felony conviction you Must have it completed or have had it discharged.
  • And you Must not be under court-ordered guardianship where a court has revoked your voting rights

If you meet all of those requirements you are set to register!

In Minnesota while it is encouraged to register ahead of time it is possible to register the day of at your polling place, you will just need to bring 3 things with you

  1. A valid photo ID: drivers licence, passport, military or tribal ID or a Student ID from a Minnesota high school college or university
  2. An approved documents: A bill statement due or dated within 30 days, Including phone, TV, internet, water, electric, or waste bills, A rental agreement valid through election day, Or a current student fee statement
  3. A registered voter who can confirm your address

Once you have all of your documents ready you just need to know where your polling place is. The Minnesota Secretary of State has a Polling Place Finder. All you need to do is enter your address.
