Economic education is a celebration at St. Cloud State University this week.

Thursday marks the kick off of the 55th year of the Winter Institute. This is an annual signature event for the Center for Economic Education, the Economics Department and the School for Public Affairs.

The two-day celebration will feature regional business leaders to deliver speeches on economics and influence.

Students who attend the Winter Institute will gain more insight on national, state and regional economic trends.

The event will take place Thursday in the 912 Regency Plaza in downtown St. Cloud and Friday in SCSU’s Atwood Memorial Center.
