A Pipestone woman is currently facing a number of charges including 2nd degree DUI after a car accident on Highway 23 and 33rd Avenue on Friday afternoon. 

 

St. Cloud PoliceSergeant Jason Burke says the accident happened when a car driven by a 66-year-old man and woman from Brook Park, Minnesota was rear-ended by 43-year-old Carrie Ann Leddy from Pipestone.  Both victims were taken to the VA Urgent Care for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

 

Police say Leddy was found to be intoxicated, blowing a .207 at the scene. Leddy is currently facing charges of Criminal Vehicular Operation, 2nd degree DUI, driving after suspension, open alcohol container, and texting while driving. Leddy is being held for court at the Stearns County Jail.
