Woman Involved in Crash Just After Getting Pulled Over

An 86-year-old Avon man is injured after crashing into a car that failed to yield. It happened Wednesday just after 3:30 pm at the intersection of County Road 4 and Pleasant Avenue, on St. Cloud’s northwest side. Police say Robert Martin was driving westbound on County Road 4 when a car driven by 22-year-old Monica Lindlief of Sartell, pulled out into the intersection where she was hit by Martin’s car. 86-year-old Martin was brought to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Lindlief was given a ticket for failing to yield. She had been pulled over just prior to this crash for an unrelated reason.
